All These CineThoughts!

In the vein of Playthrus and Quick Thoughts comes CineThoughts. Yay!

First up is Project X… A Teen movie that’s all about one giant party and the consequences afterwards. Fun film but is somewhat ruined by the very unnecessary addition of Teen Romance. Should’ve just been left out entirely.

Kung Pow: Enter The Fist… I used to not like this movie back in the day and thought it was really dumb. Later on I realized that was the entire point since it was basically a parody.

Dragon Ball: Evolution… Yeah, there’s just no defending this movie at all. Its horrible and makes that one Clint Eastwood movie that felt like it was 3 to 4 hours long look good in comparison.

Power Rangers… Lots of good moments and lots of bad ones too. Over reliance on Sentai Footage, too many moments where the teams identities should’ve been exposed to the public, and the League of Soccer Moms’ influence on Zedd are just to start with in regards to bad moments. Don’t even get me started on Megaforce/Super Megaforce as the campy cheese and lines like ‘that’s a mega win!’ was just horrible and for me, unwatchable. A bit like how Beetleborgs is for me now sadly enough.

Samurai’s Jayden/Deker fights were awesome however, even if I do feel that Lauren should’ve been introduced much earlier. And yes, I absolutely loved the 2017 film and it deserved a sequel, darn it!

Forrest Gump… No complaints about this one, absolutely love it.

Family Matters… Essentially became the Steve Urkel show and how Myra was treated was horrible.

Boy/Girl Meets World… BMW is good and GMW has its moments of good but suffered from being on the Disney Channel in a variety of ways.

The Warriors… This one’ll probably get me some hate given I feel its over hyped. Yes, its a decent movie that I ended up watching for the first time a couple years ago but did it really need a kind of sort of romance subplot?

The Prophecy Films… Angels, Choices, Souls, Humans being involved, and half Angel/Human children. Good times, especially with Christopher Walken playing Gabriel. 4th and 5th films aren’t that great tho.
