And no, you don’t have to worry about me gushing all over again about JEFF or Space Warped or Fiction Squad. As this is for other titles yo! Some I’ve covered and some I haven’t. So lets get to it!
Akogun: Brutalizer of Gods… A 3 issue series that packs a lot of story without over doing it and getting to learn of an African Pantheon at the same time? Hell to the yeah on that!
I Took A Hammer To Hell… A man with just about nothing to lose as the time to collect his soul draws near prompts him to go to Hell first with nothing but a hammer and’ll stop at nothing to achieve his goals? Need more of that!
Out Of Alcatraz… While I still haven’t finished my read thru of this series and will do so eventually, I did enjoy what I read. Hadn’t even realized at first its based on some true events.
Tectiv: Noirtopia Vol. 1… Becoming a ‘Tectiv in order to find a friend in a Post Apocalyptic world where it seems just about everything is in your way is a must read in my view.
Big Rig… Medieval times with rampant Demonic Invasions plus a big semi truck to help combat said Demonic Invasions!? It doesn’t get any better than that I feel!
Pistol Shrimp… Anthropomorphism with an Old West background is loads of fun that probably shouldn’t work but it does!
Savager… More Post Apocalyptic goodness where you’re forced to share body space with a parasitic being? At least you aren’t lonely!
Absolute Batman: The Zoo… Ol’ Bats kicking that kid off the boat was the best part of that storyline! His dad leaving him and a bunch of kids on their own while a shooter is around however… Makes no sense.
Predator VS. Spider-Man… Honestly? Could’ve been better written and with some actual stakes.
X-Men’s Krakoa Era… Oh why, oh why did you have to go? For parting is such sorrow.
Deer Editor… It ain’t easy bein’ the only Anthropomorphic Deerman Journalist! Tho could’ve done without the Vampires.
Copperhead… Single Redheaded mom and Sheriff doin’ her thing on another planet and we need more of it, damnit!
The Tiger’s Tongue… A decent enough read but sadly got a little confusing for me.
The Karman Line… This Reality TV drama in Space ensured that going beyond the atmosphere and to the stars would never be the same again.
Dead Head… I’ve only read the first issue and while I do wanna check out the second issue, the scenes with the video store clerk is a little on the confusing side. Plus, black on red inner narrative? Didn’t really work for me.
