So I thought it’d be a nice idea to provide some quick coverage for Campaigns but not to the extent of ‘The Hotspot’ from back in the day. Anyways…
Let’s go!
Tokyo Blade Detectives #1-12 Vol. 3
The story is set 200 years in the future, where Japan has been rebuilt through incredible technology and several new laws. But the one that no one can break is “No Guns Allowed.”
While noble, it creates a power vacuum that is filled with groups using “laser swords.” Now, the capital of Tokyo is constantly under siege. Five factions have risen up to take everything for themselves, and our main character, Miko, a 16-year-old detective, is just trying to live through it all.
Each arc/volume is four issues long, with each story directly tying into the next one in big and small ways. Everything is connected here, and that means the payoffs are more fun as a result.
Dragon Grit Volume 1 – A Fantasy Western With Dragons!

Growing Up on the Spectrum
Everything you wish you’d learned about autism while you were growing up—whether you’re autistic or not!
WHAT WE’RE MAKING
Growing Up on The Spectrum is a 101 guide to autism for everyone on and off the spectrum who wants to understand autism better!
This 190-page graphic novel by autistic creator Tess Langston is part educational comic and part memoir. Tess was diagnosed autistic and nonspeaking at a very young age and worked hard to learn how to navigate the strange, neurotypical world we live in. Now, as an adult with a love for sequential storytelling, she has created Growing Up on the Spectrum to share all that she’s learned.
The book explores how autistic brains function, how masking works, special interests, sensory input, nonverbal communication, overwhelm, burnout, and so much more—all with whimsy, humor, and respect for readers.
It also includes external resource guides, a handy glossary, and even interactive portions to help readers explore their own experience, including relationship charts, shame-busting worksheets, brain archetype visual aids, and more.
Growing Up on The Spectrum is an essential and enjoyable resource for everybody!
Growing Up on the Spectrum…
- 😃 Uses whimsy, humor, lived experience, and clear explanations to make autism feel human, accessible, and less intimidating.
- 🧠 Celebrates special interests, sensory experiences, communication styles, and the beautiful diversity of autistic brains.
- 🥰 Is designed as a compassionate guide for autistic folks and for the people in their lives who want to understand them better.
- ♿ Is accessible to more readers because it combines verbal and visual information at the same time!
- 🌎 And most importantly, treats autistic readers with respect—not as puzzles to solve, but as people with entire worlds inside them.
-

Editor’s Note: Honestly… When I saw this, how could I not include it!? Topics like this aren’t ones you normally see in comics so when its covered, it definitely needs to get some attention!
Miskatonic High #30 – The Fraternity Of Fear
Welcome to Miskatonic High, the comic series about the teens who take on Lovecraft monsters and their small-town high school…they’re just not sure which is worse.
Don’t worry, you don’t need to know anything about H.P. Lovecraft to enjoy this series, just like you don’t have to remember that in 1892, a woman in Rhode Island was exhumed after her death by her neighbors so they could ritualistically destroy her, believing she was a vampire. (She actually had tuberculosis.)
The story so far
In the rustic hills of a small New England town lies the prestigious Miskatonic High School. When the Community Services Club went on a field trip they were launched back to a silent city and were nearly killed by an evil wizard and his tentacle monster. The teens escaped back to our century, but things have never been the same. Since then, we learned some of the secrets haunting the students of the Community Service Club and that their world is not what they thought it was.
If you like your horror mixed with tongue-in-cheek humor and a bit of unexpected drama, like Buffy, Evil Dead or Get Out, you’ll probably enjoy Miskatonic High.
Each issue is pretty much self contained, and we give you everything you need to know, so don’t feel like you need to buy all three seasons to catch up (but don’t feel like you shouldn’t either… we like buying food that isn’t in the ramen section of the grocery store).
In issue #30, when school newspaper reporter Ricky investigates a recent spate of grave robberies, the clues lead him to a Miskatonic University fraternity. After going deep undercover and imbibing some mind-altering substances, Ricky starts to hallucinate that he’s a comic book superhero trapped in a den of vampires. Will Simon be able to set him straight or will Ricky reveal Simon as the brilliant mad villain we secretly suspected him of being all along?
It’s high stakes in this full-sized comic, 24 pages and in color. Available in print or in digital PDF.
